A delicious beef recipe for the whole family

LET’S START …

Sirloin Steak – N°1

Remove sirloins from fridge 20 mins before cooking in order to come to room temperature. Heat bbq on high.

Sirloin Steak – N°2

Once steaks are ready to cook, oil both sides and season with fine salt.

Sirloin Steak – N°3

Place steak on bbq, reduce heat slightly. For medium-rare cook for 3 mins on one side then again on the other. Leave to rest for 3- 4 min before serving.

Homemade Chips – N°1

Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius fan-forced. Cut potatoes into 1.5cm-thick slices. Cut each slice into 1.5cm-thick chips. Place potato in a large saucepan. Cover with cold water. Bring to the boil over high heat. Reduce heat to medium. Boil for 3 minutes or until just tender. Drain.

Homemade Chips – N°2

Transfer potatoes into a greased baking tray. Drizzle with oil and toss gently so they are well coated, sprinkle with salt then place in the oven to bake for 30 mins or until golden brown.

Caramelized Onions – N°1

Heat oil in a large frypan over low heat. Add the onions and a good pinch of salt and cook very slowly for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent them from catching. Don’t be tempted to turn the heat up, as you don’t want the onions to burn.

Caramelized Onions – N°2

When onions are softened and tinged golden, add sugar and balsamic – this will start the caramelisation process. Cook onion over low heat for a further 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sticky and caramelised.

Garlic Butter Mushrooms – N°1

Place a generous drizzle of oil into a large fry pan over a medium to high heat. Scatter mushrooms in and season with salt and pepper. Cook for around 5 mins, stirring occasionally.

Garlic Butter Mushrooms – N°2

Add in butter and garlic and continue to cook for a further 5 mins until mushrooms are cooked, butter is melted and garlic is fragrant.
